Background and History
Summer Music from Greensboro (SMfG), a non-profit 501 (c) (3) tax-deductible organization, has been a concert tradition in northern Vermont for over thirty-five years. Over the years, the SMfG concert series has enriched the lives of all ages among the greater Greensboro and Northeast Kingdom community, and presented exquisite performances by exceptional musicians from throughout Vermont, New England, and beyond to enthusiastic acclaim from these audiences.
We are a volunteer, community organization
SMfG is a volunteer organization committed to meeting its goals by involving the members of the community, and by reaching out to local and regional businesses, educational and cultural groups, to gain wide participation those in the surrounding area. Let us know if you would like to volunteer to assist us in presenting these concerts.
For questions about opportunities to host musicians on weekends before the concerts, to usher at the concerts, work ‘back stage,’ or for other activities, you can reach us at summermusicfromgreensboro@nullgmail.com.
